Georgetown Adventures
When your a college student living in the city, all you want to do sometimes is take a break from the campus life, and explore more of the city. My friend Uriah and I got the chance to explore Georgetown because she had to get a dress for an event (and for internships), and she was lucky to score two dresses for $17 at H & M. Living as a college student, you have to learn to find great bargains and deals. Luckily, she was able to snag that sweet deal! Who can beat that?
We also went to Serendipity Cafe and yes, that's the cafe that is based from that romantic comedy film with John Cusack and Kate Beckinsale. Unfortunately, the one in the film is in New York City! Of course, that location would be far busier than the one in DC. I was still satisfied that we got to try the famous frozen hot chocolate, which was heavenly! Other places we stopped by: Georgetown Cupcakes (with the show on tv), Baked and Wired, and a great walk by the Chesapeake & Ohio Canal Lock (see 3rd-5th photos).
